Taiwan Trip (Day 3)

Here is it--> third day of Taiwan Trip. We are heading to AhLiShan in the early morning. *woohoo!* After we had checked out from our room in the early morning, we are rushing off to Taipei station, to ride on bullet train. It only tooks about 1 hour plus to reach at ChiaYi Country with speed about 300km/hr. If we go by car, it could took us for 4 hours to reach there.

When we reach at ChiaYi station, we still need to ride on bus to reach AhLiSan. I thought it was only 2 hours the max to reach the place we stay. However, it actually took us 3 hours to reach. Advisable to get to know the bus schedule before depart for the place. If I am not mistaken, the last bus from ChiaYi Station is by 2pm.

Very hungry and so sleepy when we are in the bus as it tooks 3 hours to reach the last station. Thanks God we do not need to walk too far to reach the place we stay, after we get down from the bus. It is actually located in the AhLiShan Recreation Jungle (嘉義縣阿里山鄉阿里山森林遊樂區) and we can just walk to visit the whole place there.

We stay a night at LianBao MingSu with TWD 2500 for 3 persons. It can actually accomodate 4 persons in a room. For more information, please refer to this.

After we had put down our lugage, here is our day at AhLiShan.

The railway. They have stop with the train services since the tragedy that happen on 08.08.2009. So we have to walk our way up to explore the whole place.

Well, this is our dinner--> Steamboat at a super cold weather again. It is actually more than enough for 3 persons. I love the pork meat!

We slept by 10pm that night as we need to wake up in the early morning the next day for the sun rise. Guess what time we woke up? Answer in the next post!

不开心

不开心的时候，你会想做什么？
你会怎么样让自己开心点？

我会吃冰淇淋，也只会选择巧克力味的。
冷冷的冰淇淋吃进嘴里，仿佛安慰着低沉的心情。
不开心的心情似乎随着嘴里融化的冰淇淋，也一起融化了！

我会坐过山车，喜欢它快及刺激的感觉。
它超快的速度仿佛把所有的失落都抛在后头。
让失落遗留在后面，不让它永远跟着。

我会看笑片，虽然故事有时会很无厘头。
就算小小的事情，都可以笑得翻天腹地。
哈哈大笑似乎可以把不开心也给吞吃了。

我会大哭一场，把眼泪给释放出来。
越不开心就要越哭得大声，好好舒缓情绪。
同时眼泪也可以把眼珠给滋润一下。

现在的我，很想做这一些事。

Taiwan Trip (Day 2)

Ta da! Post of second day of Taiwan trip is here! Well, the main activities today were still remain at Taipei. The first thing we had done in the morning is to settle all the tickets for the next few destination we were headed to the next few days. It can easily get all needed information (bullet train, railway, bus etc) at here --> Taipei Station.

One picture took with the this. We do manage to be there after few days for our shopping spree. Seriously, all things are cheap if you could find it at the right place.

We had our breakfast at McDonald, nearby Taipei Station. I am fancy with their burger as it is 'Pork Burger'! *Non-Halal* I miss the burgers now... lol

Can you see the pork burger in the picture? A set comprise with a burger, mash potato and choice of hot drink (coffee or chocolate). It cost TWD 70 per person.

Seriously, i am enjoying with it.

After finish with breakfast, we were meeting with my Taiwan colleagues as they invited us for lunch. So soon to have our lunch as we just finish with our breakfast? No choice as we are too hungry if skip for breakfast hence we just have the breakfast first. With the misunderstanding, we actually took the wrong MRT direction and reach at a wrong place. Anyway, we still manage to reach the place we heading for. I am grateful that Taiwan have a good transportation system. Even with the MRT, we do not need to wait for long for the next train to come.

The little cakes from them. Cheese cake + Chocolate cake. The taste is just too *delicious*! I never taste such nice cakes before. We plan to buy this back to Malaysia but the shop is seems like a bit far.

After lunch with my colleagues, we are headed to visit 国父纪念馆. Nearby Taipei 101.

We are lucky enough to see this whole ceremony. White soldiers are to replace on duty dark green soldiers in the hall. The whole ceremony was about 30 minutes and it is awesome. ^^

You are wrong if you think these are simply eggs! They are not just eggs but are pudding presented in the egg shelf. Taste is nice and creamy.

After we KO all. It is not a wise action to finish all by 3 persons. It is seriously full!

In the Taipei 101. We didnt buy ticket for the observatory deck as we need to queue up for an hour. Then we went to WuFenPu again as we havent explore the whole place.

Taiwan Trip (Day 1)

Here is the post for Day 1 of my Taiwan Trip in April 2010. Had our flight in the early morning, 9.40am. Thanks PS's dad who fetch us to LCCT after the early breakfast. With an excited feeling in the morning, we cant stop ourselves to start campwhoring even before we enter into departure room.

The pre-order flight meal. Taste so-so only. The most tastier would be chicken rice. Each pack come with the small bottle of mineral water.

After 4.5 hours of flight, we finally reached safely at TaoYuan International Airport. The first thing we need to do is to get the Tour Buddy Phone from the counter. This is the facilities that provided by Taiwan for foreign travelers. We can borrow this phone for free with free credit of TWD100. We just need to return it when we leave Taiwan after 8 days. This phone had brought convenience to us to contact with our family, home stay owner and also call for taxi services.

Ta Da, these are the 3 phones. Small and light! What a good services provided by them.

Besides that, we also apply for youth card at the same counter. If you are below 30 years old, just fill up a form and you can get it for free also. With the card, we can get discount at several places at Taiwan.

From TaoYuan International Airport, we took bus to reach Taipei with TWD125 per person. There are few bus companies at the bus terminal in the Airport. Just go and ask and you will reach the place you want to go.

We had book the room before we came to Taiwan. Taipei York, LongShanShi is the place that we stay in the first 2 days at Taipei. With a reasonable price, we are satisfied with the room we got. Just a little too small for 3 persons, as mention by the owner before we booked it.

PS in the toilet. The owner is very clever to fully utilise all the spaces in the room, include toilet. lol

A good facilities provided by this owner. Washing machine in every room. We do laundry everyday after we back from outside. ^^

The first night in our schedule was shopping in WuFenPu! WuFenPu is a place where full of clothes distributors. A lot of variety and we can get clothes for the cheapest price! 3 of us are brave enough to brought only 2 pieces of clothes each from M'sia as we already plan to buy clothes over here.

As we are starving since we got down from the plane, we decided to take dinner first before we start shop at WuFenPu. It was raining since we reach Taipei and the weather is super duper cool. So we had steamboat for our first meal at Taiwan. This shop is just one steet away from WuFenPu.

Customers can easily look at the menu which is on the top of the wall. After decided what to order, we need to put down our order at the counter. Even though they serve it in a small pot, but it is quite a large portion for a person to KO one pot. Even we are only order 3 pots for 4 persons, we dont really can finish all the food.

Pot of lamb (特制羊肉锅) ~ The soup is full of lamb meat taste. They putting in the lamb cute instead of lamb meat slices.

Pot of Mah Lat (中国麻辣锅) ~ Different with the Mah Lat pot we have in M'sia. The soup is taste more to sweetenest of meat, instead of just spicy taste of the food. We also found lamb meat slices in this pot.

Pot of seafood (海鲜锅) ~ They are generous in putting in different kind seafood.

Total 3 of them. Besides of the meats, each pot contains mushroom, vegetable, grass noodle and also Fucuk.

After we finish with our dinner, we start with our shopping street at WuFenPu. We shop until 11pm and we need to catch the MRT to get back to our 'home'. Seriously, it is not enough time for us to visit all the shops there and we plan to go back here again the next day. ^^ That's our first night in Taiwan!
